Learning That Is Limited
Only by the Imagination
Every day, Workspace parents watch their children stretch their abilities and open up new outcomes. That’s because, at Workspace, children tap their interests and passions not only to extend their skills, but also to expand their possibilities.
When it comes to igniting passion in children, Workspace has a secret sauce. And, the three special ingredients exist only within our walls and community.
With individualized learning plans, foundational literacies are acquired more efficiently and children have more time to explore the world.
Workspace is a safe place to fail. Children are encouraged to identify enormous challenges and provided the support to take them on.
Workspace students have a powerful spectrum of enabling technology at their fingertips and a wide-ranging professional network within reach.
An Open Framework
Interest-activated education can occur spontaneously over the course of an afternoon, spread out over several weeks, or even refined over a number of years. It can take the form of independent study, experienced in groups, and range from very structured to free flowing.
While this type of learning can take any shape (including physical ones like inventing new wearable technology or building a set for a new screenplay), this type of learning often falls into five categories, community-based projects, clubs, classes, commerce, and competitive collaborations.
