Learning That Is Limited
Only by the Imagination
Every day, Workspace parents see their children stretch their imaginations and open up new possibilities. At Workspace, learners ignite their passions not only to master new skills, but also to expand their horizons.
Workspace ignites passion in children with our own secret sauce, and these three special ingredients can only be found together in our community and our Big Red Barn.
Our learners are free to spend unlimited time on what they love, and yet don’t miss out on foundational literacies, acquired more efficiently through individualized learning plans.
Workspace is a safe place for learners to be themselves. We encourage authentic expression to help chidren find their true voice, and provide the support to take on enormous projects.
Workspace students have a powerful array of cutting-edge technology at their fingertips and a network of professionals and peers to collaborate on challenging tech projects.
A Flexible Framework
Learner-centered education is interest-activated and can occur in the course of one day or be spread out over several weeks, or even months and years. It’s up to the learner. It can be self-directed independent study, collaborative co-learning, and anything in between.
While Workspace learning can take any form (such as inventing new wearable technology or building sets for a play), co-learning here usually falls into these five categories: community-based projects, clubs, classes, commerce, and competitive collaborations.
